Exhibition of National Achievements: Affirming the Party's leadership role in all victories of the Vietnamese revolution

On the evening of September 15, at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), the closing ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

In his closing speech, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the exhibition was successful beyond expectations, shining with the spirit of “Solidarity - Intelligence - Strength - Glory - Pride that we are Vietnamese”; at the same time emphasizing that the Party’s leadership is the leading factor deciding all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.

The exhibition spaces vividly recreated the revolutionary history, honoring the country's outstanding achievements under the Party's leadership, especially in the 80 years since gaining independence, unification, building and defending the Fatherland. The exhibition also affirmed the strength of national solidarity, the mettle, intelligence and creativity of the Vietnamese people, as well as the people's steadfast belief in the Party, the State and the cause of innovation.

According to the Organizing Committee, thanks to its strong appeal, the exhibition was extended to September 15. After 19 days, the event attracted more than 10 million visitors, with September 13 alone reaching a record of nearly 1.3 million visitors.

This is the largest exhibition ever, with a space of nearly 260,000 square meters, bringing together 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 enterprises and economic groups.

The National Exhibition Fair Center - an architectural work bearing the symbol of the Golden Turtle - has also become a new highlight of the Capital, contributing to honoring the historical memory, bravery and intelligence of Vietnam, affirming the aspiration for development and international integration.

* At the closing ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, the Organizing Committee announced the award for "Outstanding Exhibition Space".

There were 50 honored units, including 15 ministries, branches, central agencies; 15 provinces, centrally-run cities and 20 enterprises. Vinh Long is the only province in the Mekong Delta region to be awarded.

To win the award, the exhibition space must honestly and deeply reflect achievements, potentials, and development orientations; at the same time clearly demonstrate the identity and typical values associated with the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness. The criteria also include creative design, scientific layout, application of modern technology, attractive experiential activities, and high spreading ability.

Vinh Long participated in the exhibition with the theme "Vinh Long - Crystallizing the past, creating the future", divided into 3 parts: Unleashing history (before 1945), Vinh Long in the period of resistance and development (1945 - 2025), and Vinh Long's bright future (2025 - 2045). On an area of over 500m², the exhibition space is designed as a journey through the history of land reclamation, revolutionary traditions, innovation achievements to the development vision after merger and consolidation.

Vinh Long's exhibition space also introduces many unique cultural and artistic features, contributing to spreading the image of a dynamic and rich local identity, affirming the aspiration to rise up in the new era.
