For the first time, a Photo and Video contest on the topic of human rights in Vietnam called "Happy Vietnam 2023" was organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications online through the Vietnam image promotion platform - https://vietnam.vn.
The contest is a vivid demonstration of the deep concern and consistent policy of our Party and State towards taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people, taking the people as the center, in the spirit of "Leaving no one behind" and creating all favorable conditions for people to participate, contribute, promote their capacity and intelligence in the cause of building, developing, protecting the Fatherland and international integration of the country.
At the same time, the contest also creates opportunities for people across the country, overseas Vietnamese and international friends to express their love for their homeland and country and their enthusiasm in creating photos and videos to promote the image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world , arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy nation; promoting cultural values and the strength of the Vietnamese people in the new era.
After 4 months of launching from June to October 2023, the contest has attracted more than 7,000 photo and video entries from domestic and international authors. From there, the Organizing Committee has selected nearly 30 typical and best works to award prizes and 70 photo works and 14 video works to be exhibited.
Each work is an interesting story, a beautiful memory, full of happiness or maybe a practical perspective on a life full of difficulties and hardships but always full of smiles, joy and happiness.
The opening ceremony of the Exhibition and the announcement of the competition's awards will be solemnly held at 7:00 p.m. on December 19, 2023 at the Hanoi Opera House, with a special music performance program by many famous artists today and broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV4), posted on VTVgo, Vietnam Image Promotion Platform - https://vietnam.vn and a number of other digital platforms.
Award ceremony of the "Happy Vietnam" photo and video contest with a total prize value of over 400 million VND. Authors with excellent works have the opportunity to receive prizes, including: 2 first prizes worth 100,000,000 VND/prize, 2 second prizes worth 30,000,000 VND/prize, 2 third prizes worth 20,000,000 VND/prize. The organizing committee plans to award 20 consolation prizes and other prizes... The entire cost of awarding prizes for the contest does not use the state budget.
