On June 17, at Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema, the Master's degree awarding ceremony took place for students majoring in "Art - Theatre" of courses K19, 20, 21.
The ceremony is not only an important milestone in the students' learning journey but also an opportunity to recognize the maturity of a generation of artists who are actively contributing to the development of professional stage, film and television arts across the country.

This year's Master of Arts training course "Theater - Cinema - Television" has special significance as most of the students are artists working professionally at public and socialized art units across the country.
Notably, nearly two-thirds of the students are working in Ho Chi Minh City - the most dynamic art center in the country - showing the North-South connection in the journey of improving knowledge, exchanging expertise, and developing modern theatrical identity.

This year's list of graduation topics shows a deep interest in folk art and traditional artistic values.
Many topics focus on studying Cheo, Cai Luong, and the performing arts of veteran artists - proving that the orientation of preserving and promoting national identity is still the main stream in the artistic thinking of the current generation of artists.
Some prominent topics include: "The performing art of People's Artist Bach Tuyet in two reformed plays Monologue at Night and Life of Miss Luu" (Nguyen Thanh Tay); "The art of character building in the script of People's Artist Vien Chau" (Tang Hoang Thuan - Thanh Hiep); "The character Duong Van Nga on the reformed stage" (Ho Thi Ngoc Trinh); "Absorbing the humorous elements of traditional Cheo in short Cheo plays of the Vietnam Cheo Theatre" (Le Thi Bich); "Inheriting and promoting the traditional Cheo performing art in three historical Cheo plays" (Bui Cam Trang).
