The family carried out the artist's last wish of having his ashes scattered at sea. At the age of 18, Quy Binh joined the border force and was stationed in Can Gio district, so he wanted to be buried in the coastal area there.

The memorial service was held at Duc Quang Pagoda (District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) on April 26 before the group moved to Can Gio - Vung Tau ferry for the burial ceremony. When the car carrying Quy Binh's ashes returned to the unit where he had served, many people were moved. When his wife - businesswoman Ngoc Tien - carried the ashes and scattered them into the sea, the surrounding atmosphere was gloomy. Each person held a white chrysanthemum in their hands and threw it into the sea to commemorate the actor.

Some of the actor's close colleagues such as Van Trang, Le Phuong, Cat Tuong, and Truong Nam Thanh were present. Le Phuong - Quy Binh's ex-girlfriend - held a purple rose to bid him farewell. Cat Tuong said: "I went to the temple to burn incense and attend Quy Binh's water burial ceremony, praying for him to return to Buddha's land. I hope the family, especially the actor's mother, will be less sad and take care of their health."

Nearly 250 spectators came to see the artist off. Mai Anh, 43 years old, Ho Chi Minh City said she loved the late artist because of his gentleness and kind face. "Of all the films Quy Binh acted in, my favorite is Rain at the beginning of the season . Since the actor passed away, I have watched this film over and over again," said the audience.

Quy Binh passed away at the age of 42 due to cancer on March 6. The actor's full name is Le Ngoc Binh, born in Hoc Mon, Ho Chi Minh City, in a family of 9 siblings, he was the 8th child. Although no one in his family was in the arts, he soon showed his talent for acting. After graduating from high school, he registered for the entrance exam to the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema. At first, his family objected, saying that being an artist was hard work, so he joined the army, working at the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command. After a period of persuasion, his family accepted his dream of pursuing an acting career.

He became famous on the small screen with the films Female Doctor, Law of the Gangster (2007), Bright Road (2008). Two works by director Phuong Dien - Even though the wind blows, Ca Ro, I love you! - brought Quy Binh's name closer to the public. In addition to television series, he participated in film projects: Nam Sau Con Lai Ve (2014) - director Tran Ngoc Giau, Qua Tim Mau (2014) - director Victor Vu, Bao Gio Co Yeu Nhau (2016) - director Dustin Nguyen. He was awarded the title of Meritorious Artist in 2023, the award ceremony took place in 2024.
