VTC NewsVTC News07/04/2023

According to Spanish newspaper Sport , the gang apparently targeted Messi's house beforehand. They scouted it out and began planning the break-in last night. But it seems they didn't study the house's alarm system carefully.

That is why, while they were struggling to open the door, the alarm system went off, causing the thieves to run away. According to people nearby, the group of thieves were arrested by the police not long after.

Messi and family

Even though his assets were spared, Messi is still worried. Last month, a supermarket owned by his wife in his native Argentina was attacked. This month, there was a failed break-in at his Spanish mansion.

Messi is currently the owner of several mansions in Argentina and the US, owns a chain of luxury hotels in Spain, and recently, the 35-year-old superstar opened a new branch in Andorra.

This is the first hotel in Messi's MiM Hotel chain to be rated 5 stars. Those who want to stay here will have to pay between 215 and 755 euros per night. In the hotel complex is a restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany, with dishes ranging from 20 to 500 euros.
