Exhibition recreating the old Tet space in Ha Long City

On January 23, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Provincial Museum coordinated with the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum to organize a special exhibition "Spring Colors through the Collection of Vietnamese Folk Paintings".

The thematic exhibition "Spring Colors through a Collection of Vietnamese Folk Paintings" includes 3 main parts: printing Exhibition paintings, experiencing folklore and checking in Vietnamese Tet.

In particular, the space for displaying folk paintings has 20 sets of paintings on 5 themes: Four Gentlemen, Beautiful Women, Four People, Eight Immortals, Story Paintings and Historical Paintings selected from the collection of folk paintings currently kept at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum. Each set of paintings is a wish for peace and happiness sent to art lovers on the occasion of the New Year.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the Organizing Committee arranged spaces to experience printing Dong Ho folk paintings on Do paper for exhibition visitors and students in Ha Long City.

In particular, the space recreating Vietnamese Tet memories with the strong imprint of the old Tet is displayed through old objects from the 1970s to 1990s. This is an exhibition space recreating Vietnamese Tet memories, aiming to create a highlight for visitors to check in and reminisce about the memories of the past.

The thematic exhibition "Spring Colors through the Collection of Vietnamese Folk Paintings" is part of a series of activities to celebrate the Party - Celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024, while also bringing the traditional Tet atmosphere to serve the cultural enjoyment needs of the public and domestic and foreign tourists when coming to Quang Ninh province.

The exhibition will run until February 23, 2024.
