Me Linh District Vocational Education and Training Center continues to improve the quality of education and training

Me Linh District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center is a public service unit under the People's Committee of Me Linh District. In recent years, with the attention of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the People's Council, and the People's Committee, the Center has invested in facilities and equipment to serve increasingly modern teaching and learning. In particular, the Center has built a new building with 12 classrooms and repaired 4 buildings, equipped computers, installed cameras in all corridors and classrooms, etc. In addition, thanks to the efforts to synchronously implement solutions in innovation and improving the quality of training, teachers and students of the Center have achieved many positive results. The rate of Good, Excellent, and Good conduct students has increased every year. The national high school graduation rate in 2023 reached 98.88% and many students participating in the city-level excellent student competition achieved high results, including First, Second, and Third prizes in many subjects. In addition, thanks to the cooperation between enterprises and vocational training institutions to combine theory with practice, theory with practice to improve training quality, link training with labor demand; cooperate with reputable enterprises in and outside the district to recruit and train according to orders to provide skilled human resources for industrial parks, factories... the rate of students after graduating from all systems having stable jobs is high.

In 2023, the Center recruited and trained 11 vocational classes with 385 students; of which, Veterinary Animal Husbandry recruited up to 140 students. At the same time, enroll and train 05 additional elementary vocational classes according to Decision 5179/QD-UBND dated August 4, 2023 of the People's Committee of Me Linh district on additional funding for the Vocational Education and Training Center to conduct additional training of 05 elementary vocational classes according to the Project "Attracting resources, improving investment efficiency, promoting production and business in Me Linh district in the period (2021 - 2025) and the Project "Training, job creation and poverty reduction for workers in Me Linh district in the period 2021 - 2025" implemented in 2023. Accordingly, the Center has enrolled 175 students in Veterinary Animal Husbandry (70 students) and Pig Breeding Techniques (105 students). In addition, the Vocational Training Center cooperates with Vocational Colleges and Colleges to train 22 classes with 904 students.

In the spirit of continuous innovation, improving training quality, meeting the needs of skilled human resources for society, in the 2023-2024 school year, the Center will continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, determined to effectively implement the work programs of the City Party Committee; programs, projects, plans,... of the District Party Committee; District People's Committee on performing the task of socio -economic development in the locality. Complete all assigned targets on education and training. Well implement the operating regulations of the industry, unit, regulations on coordination of activities with related industries and units. Seriously, fully and qualitatively implement the common tasks of the whole industry.

In addition, consult with the District People's Committee to prepare all conditions for teachers, facilities, equipment, teaching aids, etc. to ensure the implementation of the Continuing Education Program at the junior high and high school levels according to the 2018 GeneralEducation Program. Develop and implement the 2023-2024 school year plan well, improve the quality of mass education, organize review sessions for 12th graders to prepare for the high school graduation exam. Regularly integrate career guidance activities into classroom teaching hours for students. Thereby, helping students learn about careers, social needs, and personal abilities to choose a direction after graduating from high school; especially 12th graders. In addition, ensure strict implementation of the comprehensive education perspective, attach importance to students' moral education, legal education and prevention of school violence, and implement good traffic safety.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of many solutions to improve training quality, in recent years, the number of students enrolled in the Center has met and exceeded the assigned target. In the 2023-2024 school year, the Center has 39 classes with 1,646 students in the high school continuing education system, including: Grade 10 has 14 classes with 621 students; Grade 11 has 14 classes with 588 students; Grade 12 has 11 classes with 437 students. With the achieved results and the enthusiasm and dedication of the Board of Directors and all staff, teachers and employees, in this school year, teachers and students of Me Linh Continuing Education Center are determined to excellently complete the school year's tasks, continue to write proud achievements, contribute to building a learning society, meeting the requirements of sustainable development of the country./.
