Before November 30, 2025, complete the arrangement of commune and ward health stations.

On the afternoon of November 21, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Council - People's Committee, the Department of Health held a conference to disseminate the contents of Circular 43/2025/TT-BYT of the Minister of Health guiding the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Health Stations of communes, wards, and special zones of provinces and centrally run cities and some contents of implementing the arrangement of health stations at the commune level in the province.

Circular No. 43 stipulates that the Commune Health Station is a public health service unit directly under the People's Committee of a commune, ward, or special zone under a province or centrally-run city (collectively referred to as the Commune Health Station). The Commune Health Station is under the direct direction and management of the Commune Health Station in terms of organization, human resources, assets, and finance; and is also under the direction, support, guidance, and inspection of the Department of Health and related units in terms of expertise and profession according to the provisions of law.

According to the Circular, Commune Health Stations have the function of providing and implementing professional and technical services in the following fields: disease prevention; medical examination and treatment; management and improvement of community health; protection and care of mothers and children; care of the elderly and people with disabilities; social protection; population; food safety; pharmaceuticals; medical equipment and other medical services as prescribed by law. The Circular also stipulates the tasks, powers and organizational structure of commune health stations.

The leaders of the Department of Health requested that communes and wards develop a project to arrange commune-level health stations in the direction that each commune and ward has one health station and station points depending on the actual local situation on the basis of previous commune-level health stations, ensuring to meet the needs of disease prevention, primary health care, basic medical examination and treatment for people in the area according to Conclusion No. 03 - KL/TU dated November 20, 2025 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference on arranging public service units, state-owned enterprises, and administrative organizations under departments, branches, and sectors in the period 2025 - 2030. The arrangement of commune and ward health stations will be completed before November 30, 2025.
