In the first 10 months of 2025, the Management Board actively coordinated with departments, branches and units to advise on the implementation of the project to establish a Free Economic Zone under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. The work of planning management, construction, investment promotion and business support in the Economic Zone and industrial parks in the old Thai Binh province was carried out synchronously and effectively, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province. From the beginning of 2025 to now, 72 projects have been newly licensed and adjusted with a total registered investment capital of about 23,400 billion VND, including 56 foreign investment projects with a total capital increase of about 700 million USD, 3.2 times higher than the same period last year. In addition, the Management Board has approved the investment policy of 2 commercial housing projects with an investment capital of about 2,851 billion VND. The work of monitoring and urging the progress of key projects as assigned by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee has achieved positive results. Up to now, most of the key projects such as Vsip Industrial Park, LNG Thermal Power Plant, Con Vanh Golf Course have started construction as scheduled.
Along with that, the Management Board has done a good job of building growth scenarios, monitoring and urging implementation according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on double-digit growth; the estimated industrial production value in 2025 of enterprises in the Economic Zone and industrial parks under the management of the Management Board will increase by about 22% compared to the same period in 2024, achieving the set plan. Timely directing the Investment Support Consulting and Industrial Services Center to take appropriate measures to maintain normal operations, ensure the provision of infrastructure services, investment consulting support, and meet the needs of businesses. Administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment, and supporting businesses continue to receive attention and direction; discipline, discipline, spirit and working attitude of cadres and civil servants have positive changes.

The Provincial Economic Zone Management Board reviews and completes the dossier of the Pilot Project to establish the Hung Yen Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval.
