On September 11, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, visited and presented gifts to people who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 3 in Bac Son and Trung Vuong wards, Uong Bi city.

In Bac Son ward, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee visited and presented gifts to the family of war invalid 4/4 Pham Thanh Dau; war invalid 4/4, victim of toxic chemicals Nguyen Cong Hoa and the family of Mr. Vu Trong Nguyen, all residing in zone 5, an area that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 3.
Although the local authorities had assessed the situation early before the storm hit and taken measures to ensure the safety of households in the area, due to the strong storm and heavy rain, localized flooding occurred. The above families and hundreds of households in Zone 5, Bac Son Ward were flooded, causing great property damage. Uong Bi City has been mobilizing the entire political system, forces, and means to help people overcome the consequences.

In Trung Vuong ward, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, visited and presented gifts to the families of Ms. Nguyen Thi Chinh and Ms. Doan Thi Dung, victims of Agent Orange, both residing in the Cong 3 Temple area. Storm No. 3 made landfall with strong winds and heavy rain, causing the two families to have their roofs blown off, their property damaged, and their circumstances to be difficult.
Giving gifts to the families, comrade Nguyen Van Hoi kindly inquired about their health, encouraged their spirits and shared the losses of the families due to the storm. With the motto of promoting the spirit of great national unity and leaving no one behind, he hoped that the local government would continue to pay attention and provide timely support so that households could quickly overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. At the same time, he also requested that the locality proactively monitor weather developments closely; propagate people to raise their vigilance, not to be negligent or subjective; proactively take preventive measures, and minimize the consequences of natural disasters that may occur.
