On the afternoon of April 19, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, received a delegation of the Chinese Ministry of Justice led by Ms. Ha Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Political and Legal Commission, Minister of Justice of China, who is visiting and working in Vietnam.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac welcomed the visit of the Chinese Ministry of Justice Delegation to Vietnam, with the aim of promptly concretizing the common perception between the two General Secretaries of the two Parties and the contents of cooperation in the field of justice and law stated in the Vietnam-China Joint Statement in 2022 and 2023.

Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated the results of cooperation between the two countries' Ministries of Justice in recent times and the talks between the two countries' Ministers of Justice, especially the directions and measures to promote cooperation between the two countries in the fields of law and justice.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that Vietnam always attaches importance to consolidating and developing the Vietnam-China relationship, is ready to work with the Chinese side to promote new heights of bilateral relations, and effectively implement high-level common perceptions, joint statements and cooperation documents signed between the two sides, including in the fields of justice and law.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac suggested that the two sides increase sharing of theoretical research results and summarizing practices in building a socialist rule-of-law state, judicial reform, preventing and combating corruption, controlling power, and combating group interests in law-making, serving the cause of the two Parties and two countries; highly appreciated the two sides' agreement to establish a mechanism for the Judicial Conference of provinces sharing the Vietnam-China border.

Chinese Minister of Justice Ha Vinh respectfully thanked Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac for receiving the delegation and congratulated Vietnam on the great achievements it has achieved in recent times.

Ms. Ha Vinh emphasized that the visit aims to implement the high-level common perception reached between the two General Secretaries of the two Parties and the Vietnam-China Joint Statement, including contents on judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries.

At the same time, he expressed his agreement with Vietnam's proposals, saying that strengthening cooperation between the two Ministries of Justice in particular and in the judicial and legal fields in general is an important content in cooperation between the two countries, especially after the two sides agreed to deepen and elevate the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and build a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

Ms. Ha Vinh affirmed that the Chinese Ministry of Justice is ready to work with the Central Commission for Internal Affairs and relevant agencies of Vietnam to thoroughly implement the high-level common awareness and signed documents, bringing the cooperation between the two sides in the judicial and legal fields to achieve more positive and substantive results; the two sides will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in areas such as governing the country according to the law, building a socialist rule-of-law state./.
