Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted

The Bac Ninh Specialized High School project (Bac Ninh) started construction in July 2014 with a total investment of nearly 600 billion VND, serving 1,200 students. Construction funds were drawn from the provincial budget.

Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted is built with 2 main items: a 9-storey administration building with a total floor area of 6,600 m2 and a 3-storey 500-seat auditorium with a floor area of 1,650 m2.

Other buildings include: a 5-storey classroom block, a library (floor area of over 12,000 m2), a 12-storey dormitory block - area of over 7,000 m2, a sports training house with an area of over 3,000 m2 equipped with modern facilities. The new school has been in operation since July 2015.

Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted

In early 2010, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced to the press that the total investment for both land and construction of the Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted at Hoang Minh Giam Street (Cau Giay District, Hanoi) was 428.96 billion VND, the investor made a total project settlement with a value of 379.74 billion VND. The project started in 2009 and was completed in 2010.

Resolution No. 13 of the Hanoi People's Council stipulates that the investment budget allocation for each student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted is 18 million VND/student/year.

Every year, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted recruits about 160 students for grade 6 and 650 students for grade 10, so the current number of students at the school is about 2,000. With an investment of 18 million VND/student/year, the estimated budget allocation for this school is up to about 30 billion VND/school year.

Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted

Mr. Vu Viet Van - Vice Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee once said that the Vinh Phuc Specialized High School project (Vinh Yen city, Vinh Phuc) started construction in January 2019 and started to be put into use from August 2020 with a total investment capital of 473 billion VND from the provincial budget.

Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted has a total area of 6.56 hectares, meeting the learning needs of 1,500 students, including the main items: 45 theory classrooms, 25 subject classrooms. In addition, the school also built a hall with a capacity of 500 seats to hold special events.

This school is also equipped and designed with a hall, classrooms for the excellent student team, a multi-purpose hall, a stadium, a swimming pool, a library, a modern dormitory... ensuring teaching, learning, and boarding for students and invited experts.

Standard classrooms have 35 to 40 seats, each teacher's desk is equipped with a high-configuration computer. The classroom also has student lockers, each classroom is equipped with 2 air conditioners.

Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted

Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted (Thai Nguyen) was established in 1988 and was seriously degraded by 2019. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee and People's Council decided to rebuild this school. The new school was built and completed in 2020 with a total investment cost of up to 240 billion VND.

Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted currently has 42 classes, 1,260 students and about 150 staff and teachers.

The school campus includes: the principal's office, library, 3 5-storey classrooms, multi-purpose hall, student dormitory, cafeteria, official residence, garage... total floor area of over 23,000m2.

Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted

Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted (Ha Nam) is considered a key project of Ha Nam province. With an investment of 260 billion VND, in 2020, the school was put into use to serve more than 1,200 students.

The predecessor was Ha Nam High School, established in September 1959. On January 13, 2009, it was renamed Bien Hoa Specialized High School and continues to operate under this name to the present.

Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted

Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted (Ninh Binh) was built with a total investment of nearly 450 billion VND, on an area of 42,000 m2. The school has full facilities: classroom area, multi-purpose hall, swimming pool, sports field, library, practice rooms, laboratories, dormitory, and dining room.

The school has a total of 39 classrooms fully equipped with smart interactive screens, sound, desks, chairs, and personal lockers for students.

The whole school has 6 computer rooms with 355 computers for IT learning; 6 practice laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology fully equipped with modern experimental equipment; 1 music room; 2 club activity rooms; 10 national team training rooms; 3 foreign language classrooms.

The dormitory has 72 rooms, with more than 400 accommodations for students, completely newly equipped with beds, wardrobes, desks and chairs, bookshelves, bedding, hot water heaters and synchronous sanitary equipment, suitable for a boarding learning environment.

Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted

Huong Vuong High School for the Gifted.

Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted has a total area of 4.72 hectares (Thanh Mieu Ward, Viet Tri, Phu Tho) with a total investment of 457.4 billion VND. Of which, the loan from the Asian Development Bank is 20 billion VND, the central budget is 200 billion VND, the local budget and other legally mobilized sources are 237.4 billion VND.

The project will be put into use from 2022, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted.

Ha Long High School for the Gifted

In mid-2008, Ha Long High School for the Gifted (Quang Ninh) was inaugurated with a total construction area of 17,253 m2. The school was built according to national standard school criteria in terms of facilities to replace the old school which was degraded and cramped.

The school includes the following items: 2 3-storey classrooms (each with 18 classrooms, floor area of 1,740 m2); 1 3-storey building including classrooms for practical subjects, experiments and library with floor area of 1,428 m2; 1 3-storey administrative building, area of 570 m2 and other auxiliary works. Total investment is nearly 60 billion VND.
