Thu Dau Mot University has a new Chairman of the University Council

On August 16, a representative of Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong province, informed that at the 2nd meeting of the University Council of Thu Dau Mot University, term II, 2023-2028, the election of the Chairman of the University Council was held to replace Associate Professor - Dr. Nguyen Van Hiep, who received a retirement decision 1 year ago.

Accordingly, with the agreement and introduction of the province, at the meeting, delegates elected Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan, Head of the General Economic Department - Central Economic Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Thu Dau Mot University for the 2023-2028 term.

Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan was born in 1967, from Quang Binh. He is a Doctor of Finance - Banking, senior political theory, and once held the position of Vice Principal of Hanoi University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

With the trust of the province and the collective of cadres, lecturers, students and pupils of the school, Dr. Doan Ngoc Xuan affirmed that he will join hands with the members of the School Council to promote the role and responsibility, and effectively implement the activities of the School Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, expected that the University Council together with the staff, teachers, students and pupils will create new breakthroughs in scale and quality. From there, affirming the position of Thu Dau Mot University as a high-quality training and scientific research unit of the province in the system of domestic and international universities.
