Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Van Chau, President of the University of Electricity, emphasized that the presence of the Deputy Minister and leaders of Departments, Bureaus, Vietnam Electricity Group, and Corporations is an important source of encouragement and a solid support for the school in the journey of training high-quality human resources for the national energy sector.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Chau emphasized that after nearly 6 decades of construction and development, the University of Electricity has developed comprehensively, playing a core role in training and research in the field of energy and electricity. Especially in the period of 2021-2025, the University has made strong efforts to innovate and achieved many outstanding results, affirming its role, responsibility and determination in the context of the energy industry transforming towards a green, smart and sustainable trend.
Entering a new development phase, the School has identified key strategic directions such as continuing to fundamentally innovate training content and methods, promoting digital learning models, high-quality programs, and linking training with business practices. Developing strong research groups, focusing on renewable energy, advanced power systems, energy economics , and national power system operations management.

At the same time, accelerate the restructuring of the School, effectively implement merger projects and develop new training facilities according to the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Strengthen comprehensive cooperation with Vietnam Electricity Group and other units, create a synchronous training, research and practice ecosystem, meeting the requirements of national energy human resource development. Build a professional, modern, and unique educational environment, promoting the spirit of responsibility, discipline, creativity and integration.

According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long, after more than 60 years of construction and development, the University of Electricity has firmly affirmed its position as a key training institution of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the field of energy, an important pillar for the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.
Especially in the period of 2021-2025, under the united leadership of the Party Committee, the School Council, the Board of Directors and the unceasing efforts of the team of teachers and staff, the School has achieved many outstanding achievements, making important contributions to the energy industry and the national education system.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Long highly appreciated the University's focus on improving training quality, innovating programs, methods and organizational models in the direction of linking theory with practice, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for the energy industry and related fields. Annual enrollment always meets and exceeds the target, demonstrating its increasingly consolidated reputation in society.
In addition, the scientific research and technology transfer activities at the School closely follow the energy development trends, practically serving the energy transition process, energy saving, smart grid and renewable energy. The School is a key training unit for many national programs, such as the Fair Energy Transition Program (JETP), training to serve the development of the semiconductor and nuclear power industries, as well as high-quality programs selected by the Ministry of Education and Training.
