160 billion VND school in Quang Ninh before inauguration day

GD&TĐ - Trong Diem Secondary School was newly built in Ha Long ward (Quang Ninh), with a scale of 45 classrooms, a total investment of 160 billion VND from the budget.

Construction started in August 2024. Trong Diem Secondary School was newly built on the land of the provincial Ethnic Boarding School, with an area of over 1.5 hectares, a scale of 45 classrooms, a total investment of 160 billion VND, meeting the learning needs of 2,000 students.

The project includes the following main items: Construction of a new 5-storey administrative building with a construction area of nearly 1,700m2; construction of two new 4-storey school buildings with a construction area of over 1,300m2; construction of a new multi-purpose building and a basement with an area of 1,400m2; renovation of the practice building into a library and completion of auxiliary infrastructure items.

After 1 year of construction, the project is expected to be inaugurated on August 19.

Currently, the construction unit is urgently cleaning and completing the remaining items.

The classrooms have been furnished and cleaned.

Potted plants are placed in the classroom, creating a cool green space.

Outside the hallway are also placed many potted plants.

Fire protection system is installed on each floor.

Multi-purpose house completed.

Mini soccer field is located next to the multi-purpose house.

The group of workers is completing the final steps. During the construction and development process, Trong Diem Secondary School has always affirmed itself as one of the schools with a tradition of high-quality education , leading the province. The number of excellent students in cultural subjects, IOE English, International Mathematics, Science and Technology, Creative Youth... winning prizes at international competitions is over 1,100 students, over 300 students at national competitions; nearly 2,200 students are excellent at the provincial level; over 3,500 students are excellent at the city level. Many generations of students of the school have grown up and held many important positions, with many international scientific topics.

The last stones in the school yard are being completed. With persistent efforts in work, Trong Diem Secondary School was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal in October 2003; Second Class Labor Medal in November 2013. The school was also honored to receive the Certificate of Merit twice from the Prime Minister, and many times received the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Provincial People's Committee.
