Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School organizes admission exam for grade 6, school year 2025 - 2026

The admission subjects are students (residing or having legal documents proving that they are living or have completed primary school at primary school) in Buon Ma Thuot City.

The Head of the City Department of Education and Training will issue a decision to establish the Admissions Council of Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School. Admissions are based on the results of the final year education assessment of students in 5 years of primary school, converted into specific scores: "Excellent completion" is calculated as 10.0 points; "Good completion" is 9.0 points; "Completion" is 8.0 points.

The admission score is the total score of the student's educational assessment results of 5 years of primary school. The admission principle is from high to low to recruit enough assigned quota (270 students).

In case of considering the final quota, there are many candidates with the same admission score, the sub-indices will continue to be considered in order of priority. First, students who won individual prizes in order of national and provincial levels held in the 2024-2025 school year in related exams and competitions (arts, drawing contests, physical education and sports, Phu Dong Health Festival, Reading Culture Ambassador, international letter writing contest, Vietnamese Top Scholar on the Internet, STEM Festival). In case of the same prizes, priority will be given to the content awarded in order of priority: STEM Festival, Vietnamese Top Scholar on the Internet; Phu Dong Health Festival, physical education and sports, art, drawing contest, Reading Culture Ambassador, international letter writing contest.

The second criterion is the total score of the final exam of grade 5 in Math and Vietnamese is higher; if there are still candidates with the same score, then continue to consider in the same way as above for grades 4, 3, 2, and 1. If there are still cases of equal scores, the Admissions Council will discuss to reach a unanimous decision.

From May 30 to June 4, 2025: provide, receive application documents, enter data and check data. From June 4 to 8, 2025: Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School announces the list of students with complete data and publicly posts it; instructs students and parents to compare, check data and report data corrections if there are errors...

Admission results will be announced on June 10, 2025.

It is known that this is the first year that Buon Ma Thuot City has innovated the method of admission to grade 6. Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School has switched from admission combined with entrance assessment to admission organization.
