On the morning of November 16, Yen Lac 2 High School, Yen Lac District solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the school's founding (1984 - 2024) and the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. Attending the ceremony were comrade Nguyen Khac Hieu, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, agencies, and unions of the province, along with many generations of school administrators, teachers, and students through the years.

Congratulating and praising the achievements of teachers and students of Yen Lac 2 High School over the past 40 years, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu requested the school to continue promoting the tradition of 40 years of construction and development, constantly innovate management work, improve the qualityof education , create high-quality human resources for the locality, and strive to be a unit with teaching and learning quality in the top of high schools in the province.
On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu sent his gratitude and best wishes to the teaching staff of Vinh Phuc province in general and Yen Lac 2 High School in particular, and hoped that the teachers would continue to promote their experience and passion for the profession, contributing to training human resources and nurturing talents for the country and Vinh Phuc province.

Yen Lac 2 High School, formerly Lien Chau High School, was established in 1984 when the country was still facing many difficulties. After 40 years of construction and development, more than 16,000 students have graduated and grown up from this school, many of whom have held important positions in organizations and agencies of the Party and the State.
From a very low starting point, with tireless efforts, up to now, Yen Lac 2 High School has gradually affirmed its position, being in the top schools with high comprehensive education quality in the province, for many consecutive years the rate of excellent students at the provincial level has continuously increased, the rate of students passing high school graduation is stable at over 98%, the rate of students passing universities the following year is always higher than the previous year.
In 2015, the school was recognized as meeting national standards. From 2019 to present, the scale of the school has developed steadily. With its contributions and dedication over the past 40 years, Yen Lac 2 High School has been honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and the State such as: "Third-class Labor Medal", "Second-class Labor Medal", Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training , the Provincial People's Committee, Certificate of Merit from the Department of Education and Training and socio-political organizations.
On this occasion, 5 teachers of the school were awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for their outstanding achievements in the process of building and developing the school./.
