Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union shared: "In 2023, in Southeast Asia, Vietnam will have the highest rate of motorbike users at 72.8%. With a population of 100.3 million people, Vietnam's car ownership rate is 63 vehicles per 1,000 people. Traffic accidents involving children are still complicated, there are still cases of children underage, lacking knowledge and skills to drive vehicles, leading to serious traffic accidents."
Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh emphasized that the Vietnam Women's Union has the function of caring for and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of women of all classes. Over the years, the Union has always identified its core role in propaganda and mobilization of members, women and the community in ensuring traffic safety and order. In particular, the Union has always emphasized the function of the family and the role of women because they have a direct impact and influence on the awareness, behavior and habits of family members when participating in traffic.

This is a form of innovation in the dissemination of legal education in general and ensuring traffic safety in particular to raise awareness of self-compliance with the law and build a culture of safe traffic for cadres, members, women and the community with the theme "Families have the responsibility to implement traffic safety", contributing to the effective implementation of the Campaign to build "Family of 5 no 3 clean" and the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era".
