Dr. Doan Duc Dung has over 14 years of experience in interventional cardiology, with specialized training in cardiovascular pathology, basic training in echocardiography, cardiac electrophysiology, and proficiency in cardiovascular emergency procedures (cardiac cardioversion, pericardiocentesis, emergency temporary pacemaker implantation, etc.).
With his dedication to the profession, Dr. Dung has performed over 5,000 coronary artery interventions and more than 1,000 interventions for congenital heart defects such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, and patent ductus arteriosus.
He also performed over 500 peripheral vascular interventions (carotid artery, subclavian artery, renal artery, lower limb arteries), over 300 pacemaker implants for arrhythmia treatment, 20 balloon aortic valve dilation and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI) procedures…
Currently, Dr. Doan Duc Dung is serving as the Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Center at Vinmec Times City International General Hospital.
