From May 10, 2025: Increase 4.8% in retail price of household electricity

From May 10, 2025, the average retail electricity price will increase from VND 2,103.11 to VND 2,204.0655 per kWh (excluding VAT), equivalent to an increase of 4.8%.

This increase is carefully considered based on fluctuations in input costs (coal and gas prices for electricity production) and electricity costs that people and businesses must pay. According to EVN's calculations, each household will have to pay an additional VND4,350 to VND62,150 per month if they use 50 - 500 kWh per month.
