That is the art program Proud to be Vietnamese on the evening of August 17, at the square of My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ).

The program is chaired by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, and Vietnam Television.

This is one of the key national activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), contributing to honoring the glorious history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people. The program welcomed more than 30,000 spectators.

Attending the program were Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; General Trinh Van Quyet - Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh.

Proud to be Vietnamese: Drawing the shape of the country with music

The program impresses with elaborate live performances, modern sound and light - visual systems and music that evokes and stimulates love for homeland, country and national pride.

Music Director Le Anh Thuy skillfully connected music from many periods to tell the story of the heroic Vietnam, the beautiful Vietnamese homeland and the affectionate Vietnamese people...

The band Buc Tuong, Duong Tran Nghia, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Pham Thu Ha, Dinh Thanh Le, Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu "Voi Ban Don", Duong Hoang Yen, Lam Bao Ngoc, Oplus group, RamC... and 500 artists and dancers brought musical performances that were sometimes majestic, sometimes passionate.

The portrait of Vietnam gradually appears vividly and proudly through the songs Vietnam in me: Praising the Fatherland, That Soldier, Vietnam's Stance, National Flag, Hello Vietnam, Northwest Love Song, Lake on the Mountain, Highland Flame, Song of the Southern Land, You in My Eyes, North, Central and South are One House (folk songs)...

Young singers who are hot today like Anh Tu "Voi Ban Don" and Hoa Minzy bring different colors of themselves that the audience doesn't know much about.

Anh Tu made the audience fascinated and moved to "fly" with the passionate melody and lyrics of the song "You are Ho Chi Minh".

Hoa Minzy is not as enthusiastic as when singing Thi Mau or Bac Bling, but is profound through the songs Pain in the Middle of Peace, Aspiration, and Homeland.

The most explosive moments belonged to the performances of Tung Duong, the band Buc Tuong and the finale with the "national" song by musician Pham Tuyen Nhu featuring Uncle Ho on the great victory day.

Tung Duong "burned up" My Dinh Square right at the beginning of the program, with a resounding and heroic performance of Tien Quan Ca right after the emotional moment of quoting the tape recording of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945.

And the band Buc Tuong and singer Duong Tran Nghia appeared at the end of the program, opening with the song Kham Pha, bringing the audience to many wonderful things of our country.

And when the strong and passionate melody of the band's most popular song - Road to Glory - was played, the 30,000 audience members cheered in welcome, as if they were cheering to welcome something close to them.

Finally, Tung Duong, Anh Tu, Hoa Minzy and the artists sang "Noi vong tay lon" together, and of course "Nhu co Bac Ho" in the great victory day , in the light and sound of fireworks, and the singing of tens of thousands of spectators, creating an emotional ending to a special art program.
