On August 23, the People's Council of Khanh Hoa province announced that it had officially issued a resolution regulating the fee levels, collection, payment, management and use of fees for visiting Nha Trang Bay scenic spots. The resolution will take effect from August 25, 2025.
According to the new regulations, the area of fee collection is the sea and island areas within the boundary of Nha Trang Bay from Ke Ga Cape to Cu Hin Cape. Except for the strictly protected areas according to the functional zoning of Nha Trang Bay Marine Reserve, including the entire area east and southeast of Hon Tre, from Dam Bay to Hon Mun, Hon Noc, Hon Cau.
The fee is applied to 6 specific island routes, not including accident insurance. Route 1 to Hon Mieu Island (Tri Nguyen) charges 6,000 VND/person/trip - the lowest fee among the 6 routes. The three routes to Hon Tam Island, Hon Tre (Vinpearl) and Hon Mot all charge 8,000 VND/person/trip.

In particular, route 5 to Hon Mun Island - an area famous for its beautiful coral reefs - has the highest fee among the individual routes at 10,000 VND/person/trip. Route 6 combines the routes priced at 40,000 VND/person/trip, suitable for tourists who want to explore many islands in one trip.
The subjects of the fee are tourists traveling by inland waterways on sea areas and islands within the boundaries of Nha Trang Bay.
Free groups include children under 6 years old; people with disabilities; local civil servants on business trips; citizens residing in Khanh Hoa; people in remote areas under Program 135; people with meritorious services to the revolution and the elderly aged 60 and over. Children aged 6-16, students and pupils receive a 50% discount on the fee.
According to regulations, Nha Trang Bay Management Board is allowed to retain 80% of the total collected fees to serve the management work of the unit, in order to ensure the conservation and sustainable development of this natural heritage area.
