I remind myself to always train my political mettle, professional ethics, and learn professional skills to be steadfast in the face of all difficulties and challenges. In the remote border area of Xuan Truong commune, Lieutenant Nong Hong Thuan, Armed Team Leader, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Xuan Truong Border Guard Station is working hard to patrol and protect every inch of the country's border. Born and raised in a homeland rich in revolutionary traditions, Thuan understands that today's young generation not only enjoys the fruits of the revolution, but also has the responsibility to continue and protect it. Thuan shared: Every time I patrol and protect the border and sovereignty markers, I always remember the sacrifices of previous generations, who did not spare their blood and bones so that the country could have an independent day. As a member of the Youth Union, a young man wearing the uniform of a border guard, I am deeply aware of my responsibility in protecting sovereignty and border security. That is a sacred responsibility, a continuation of the heroic tradition of the nation, and the preservation of every sacred inch of the country. Therefore, the young generation must make even more efforts to maintain the border, contributing to building a prosperous and strong border homeland.
In addition to performing well the task of firmly protecting the border and landmarks, contributing our small part to keeping the people safe, my teammates and I also stick together with the people through specific actions such as supporting road repairs, building houses, propagating laws, mobilizing support, helping people develop the economy, and stabilizing their lives. Seeing the lives of people in the border areas increasingly prosperous and happy, I feel extremely happy and meaningful.
