Tuyen Quang won second prize in the National Youth and Teenage Wrestling Championship

From August 20 to 27, in Da Lat city (Lam Dong), the Department of Physical Training and Sports , the Vietnam Wrestling Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong organized the 25th National Youth and Youth Wrestling Championship in 2024.

Tuyen Quang delegation won second prize overall.

Taking place from August 21 to 27, the National Youth and Junior Wrestling Championship has 134 athletes from 12 delegations, units and sectors of provinces and cities. The athletes compete in 22 sets of medals and participate in individual competitions in 22 weight categories, from 41kg to over 80kg, in 2 main age groups from 12 to 15 years old and from 16 to 18 years old.

Tuyen Quang delegation had 11 male athletes participating in the competition and won second place overall with 3 Gold Medals in the youth category of 50 kg, 3 Silver Medals in the youth category of 59 kg, 62 kg and over 62 kg; 4 Bronze Medals in the youth category of 47 kg, in the junior category of 60 kg, 80 kg and over 80 kg.
