Grade 10 Admissions in Binh Thuan: When will the exam answers be announced?

On the morning of June 3, more than 14,000 candidates in Binh Thuan officially entered the first exam – literature – in the public 10th grade entrance exam.

According to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan , on the morning of June 3, there were 14,059 candidates taking the exam (355 absent) at 28 exam sites of 25 exam councils, taking the 10th grade entrance exam. The school with the largest number of candidates taking the exam was Phan Thiet High School, with 1,182 candidates registered to take the exam, the school with the least number of candidates was Huynh Thuc Khang High School with 172 candidates.

How many 10th graders are there on Phu Quy Island?

This year, at the Ngo Quyen High School exam site on Phu Quy Island, there are 378 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam, all of whom are students living on the island. The Binh Thuan Department of Education and Training mobilized all local middle and high school teachers to perform exam invigilation duties. The exam council leaders, secretaries and inspection teams were mobilized from the mainland to the island.

For the entrance exam to Tran Hung Dao High School for the Gifted, candidates will take 3 compulsory subjects (literature, math, English) in the first 2 days. From the afternoon of June 4, candidates registering for specialized schools will continue to take specialized subjects with a coefficient of 2. This year, the school will enroll 2 specialized literature classes (70 students), 2 specialized English classes (70 students); the remaining subjects such as math, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography and information technology, each subject will enroll 1 class (35 students).

Binh Thuan Ethnic Boarding School organized a separate exam for 9th grade students who are ethnic minorities across the province. The exam took place over two days, May 30-31, with 528 candidates participating.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan, this year is the first time the 10th grade entrance exam is organized according to the 2018 General Education Program. Therefore, the professional council had a thorough meeting before setting the exam questions. The exam questions were kept secret until the end of the exam (June 5), when the blockade was lifted and the answers were announced.
