Propaganda, raising awareness and warning about illegal and disguised multi-level marketing activities

On May 28, in Uong Bi City, the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ninh organized a conference to propagate, raise awareness and warn about illegal multi-level marketing activities in 2025 for more than 400 students of Ha Long University.

Representatives of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) propagated awareness raising and warned against illegal multi-level marketing activities for students of Ha Long University.

At the conference, representatives of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) provided general information about legal multi-level marketing models according to the law; identified illegal, disguised, and illegal multi-level marketing activities, etc. At the same time, they pointed out the tricks, identifying signs, and dangerous consequences of disguised and illegal multi-level marketing activities, which often take advantage of the ignorance and gullibility of students, workers, and people to entice them to participate.

Through direct propaganda, practical examples and specific situations, students of Ha Long University will be equipped with the skills to identify and be alert to attractive but potentially risky invitations from multi-level marketing tricks. They are also encouraged to actively share the knowledge they have learned with friends and relatives, contributing to preventing and stopping illegal acts in this field.

The conference is a practical activity within a series of programs to disseminate and popularize the law of the Quang Ninh Industry and Trade sector, aiming to protect the rights of consumers, especially vulnerable groups such as students and young people.
