"Surge of national pride, cherish the value of independence and freedom"

September 2, 1945 entered the history of the nation as a brilliant milestone, opening an era of independence and freedom for Vietnam. 80 years after that sacred moment, the whole nation turned to the historic Ba Dinh Square where the national parade took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Sharing the national pride, cadres, party members and people of Quang Ninh were moved to follow, fully placing their faith, aspirations and responsibilities on the journey of building, protecting and developing the country in the new period.

I was born and raised in the heroic Fourth War Zone, so I was imbued with revolutionary traditions from a young age. I myself directly participated in the battle on the Southern battlefield in 1972, witnessing the sacrifice of many comrades and teammates who fell to protect national peace. Therefore, I understand very well the sacred value of independence and peace today.

Watching today's military parade on the TV screen at the Binh Luc Ha Writers' House with everyone, I felt the magnificence, sacredness and strong development of the Vietnam People's Army. After 80 years, the country has developed remarkably, the army is increasingly disciplined and modern, contributing to firmly protecting the Fatherland.

I hope that today's young generation will always maintain their courage, live responsibly, strive to study, and master science and technology in the new era. Along with that, continue to promote the spirit of youth vanguard in activities and preserve cultural identity, nurture patriotism, uphold the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and courage in the face of all difficulties. From there, contribute to the development, rise up to integrate and firmly protect the independence, sovereignty , and freedom of the nation.

From 6am, in the joyful atmosphere of the people of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, many cadres, civil servants, party members and people of Ward 6A, Ha Long Ward were present at the ward's cultural house to watch the live broadcast of this important event. Everyone shared a great pride, the pride of living in peace, independence, freedom and happiness.

The speech of General Secretary To Lam at the 80th National Day Celebration of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is like a call, urging the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army, our compatriots at home and abroad, through specific and practical actions, to unite, join hands, and be of one mind, turning aspirations into reality.

Responding to this call, we will have to make even more efforts, be more determined, and promote the intelligence, creativity and mettle of the Vietnamese people to successfully carry out the goals and tasks set by the Party and the State, first of all, joining hands to build Ha Long ward firmly into the new era.

Over the past time, I and the forces participating in the parade have been practicing diligently to create the most beautiful and even formation for the official celebration.

Although the training days were sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy, sometimes tiring, I never gave up, tried every day and every hour, improved my knowledge, movement techniques and will, determined to practice towards the great ceremony, towards my beloved country.

It was also during the days of preliminary training, joint training, preliminary rehearsal, and final rehearsal that I witnessed the sentiments and patriotism of the people of the capital as well as the whole country, that I felt I had to be even more responsible, and that I needed to make even more efforts to complete the assigned tasks well. Above all, I felt very honored and proud to be present in the country's important event as a soldier in the armed forces, and even more proud to be one of the children of Quang Ninh standing in the ranks to participate in this September 2nd celebration.

During the 80-year journey of national founding, the Vietnamese people have written an immortal epic, from gaining independence, protecting sovereignty, to building and developing the country with achievements that make the whole world admire.

To celebrate the historic day of the country, nearly 100 members of the Women's Union of the ward carried out a series of meaningful activities on the important morning of the country such as: Organizing incense offering at the Moong A Memorial Monument in Ha Lam 2 quarter; presenting gifts to Ms. Hoang Thi Thoa, a female worker in Ha Lam Coal who was honored to receive the title of Labor Hero in the renovation period; cleaning the streets; dancing; parading through the streets...

Through these activities, we hope to send a message to the younger generation that the desire to contribute is not only expressed in great deeds, but can also start from simple daily actions such as: Studying seriously, working responsibly, living kindly and spreading positive values. Each small action, if done with all your heart, will contribute to strengthening the community, creating strong, positive changes.

Sitting in front of the TV screen, watching the heroic military parade live, marching in unison through the historic Ba Dinh Square, I was deeply moved. The image of the national flag fluttering and the sound of military music resounding brought tears to my eyes, proud of the strength of the Vietnamese people. Looking at the parades imbued with the cultural colors of every region, I deeply felt the spirit of solidarity, patriotism and belief in the bright future of the entire nation.

I always wish that my country will develop more and more prosperously, and that people's lives will be more prosperous and happier. As for my hometown Hoanh Mo commune, I am happy because the village roads and alleys are increasingly spacious, children can study well, and people have more opportunities to develop the economy and improve their lives. I believe that with the attention of the Party, the State and the solidarity of the people, our country will become more and more prosperous and civilized.

As a People's Public Security officer, I feel extremely moved and proud to wear the green uniform, directly contributing to maintaining security and order, protecting the peace of the Fatherland and the people. On this important holiday, seeing the red flag with yellow star fluttering everywhere, my heart is even more steadfast in ideals and firm in faith. My comrades and I are always deeply aware of our responsibilities, constantly training our political qualities, improving our professional skills, upholding the spirit of discipline, and being ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks. We are determined to join the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army in firmly protecting the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, so that the country becomes increasingly prosperous and beautiful, and the people can live in a peaceful, safe, and happy environment.

On the morning of September 2, when I sat in front of the TV with my family to watch the live ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), I felt extremely moved and emotional. The solemn and majestic atmosphere of the parade spread throughout the small screen, making me feel like I was immersed in the atmosphere of the parade and march and clearly felt the strength of innovation of the country after 80 years of construction, protection and development.

The parade is not only a big event, but also an opportunity for today's and future generations to remember the great contributions of the Party, Uncle Ho and countless generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the nation. I believe that under the leadership of the Party, our country will develop more and more sustainably and strongly. The people will live in peace, prosperity and happiness. Mixed with pride, I clearly feel the responsibility of each citizen today to continue to promote the heroic tradition of our ancestors, join hands to build the country to become increasingly rich, strong and civilized.
