Propaganda and dissemination of social insurance policies and laws

On April 9, Thanh Hoa Province Cooperative Union organized a propaganda campaign to disseminate the law to employees and employers in cooperatives in the province.

Attending the conference were representatives of the provincial Cooperative Union and more than 100 delegates representing typical cooperatives in the area.

Representatives of cooperatives were informed of the policies and laws of the Party and the State on social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI), unemployment insurance (UI), social pension benefits, registration for participation and management of collection and payment of SI; benefits of participating in voluntary SI, supplementary pension insurance; procedures, contribution levels, payment methods, State support for participants; complaints, denunciations and handling of violations of SI; State management of SI according to Social Insurance Law No. 41/2024/QH15...

At the conference, the leaders of the Cooperative Union also promoted the need for workers to limit receiving one-time social insurance benefits; dialogued and consulted directly with the subjects on issues related to policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; and a number of other policies and laws related to the rights and obligations of workers and employers in cooperatives.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Le Hong Hai disseminated information on the organization of cooperatives according to the Law on Cooperatives No. 17/2023/QH15; the preparation of production and business plans, amendments and supplements to the charter according to regulations.

The conference also promoted the role and responsibility of the Provincial Cooperative Union in leading and directing member cooperatives and cooperative unions to implement policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, etc. At the same time, it guided, consolidated, and organized cooperatives according to the Law on Cooperatives No. 17/2023/QH15; the preparation of production and business plans, amendments and supplements to the charter according to regulations.
