Second meeting of the Subcommittee on the Content of the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day

On the morning of July 21, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong chaired the second meeting of the Subcommittee on Contents of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

The exhibition of achievements of the country on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day is a practical activity to honor the outstanding achievements in the process of national development through the periods. At the same time, it affirms the leadership role of the Party, the management of the State, the consensus, creativity and efforts of the entire nation in the cause of national construction and development. Thereby, the exhibition contributes to propagating and educating the tradition of patriotism, strengthening the people's belief in the path of innovation and sustainable development; It is an opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam, deeply integrated with the international community.

In the past time, ministries, branches, agencies and localities have made efforts to carry out the assigned tasks to organize the Exhibition. There is not much time left from now until the Exhibition, the scale of the organization is large, the workload is large, requiring ministries, branches, agencies and localities to have high determination and great efforts to well implement the tasks of organizing this important Exhibition.

International consulting units provide comments on content outlines and display designs of provinces and cities.

At the meeting, members of the Content Subcommittee and the International Consulting Unit reviewed and commented on the content outline and exhibition design of 34 provinces and cities on the basis of ensuring effectiveness, synchronization, and unity in the overall design of the Exhibition.

The designs are evaluated based on 7 criteria including: Consistent with the general theme of the Exhibition; Clearly demonstrating the role and outstanding achievements of the unit; Reasonable and scientific spatial layout; Creativity, aesthetics and unique identity; Interactivity, application of technology (if any); Feasibility in construction and operation; Consistent with the overall common ground.

Many localities have good designs, clear layouts, demonstrating creativity and high-tech applications; harmonious colors, creating highlights and suitable for the theme. With the comments from the Content Subcommittee and the International Consulting Unit, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong suggested that localities synthesize to edit and complete the design. In addition, localities need to proactively coordinate closely with the consulting unit in the process of completing the exhibition design, ensuring that it meets the set criteria. Consulting should be carried out in the spirit of supporting, promoting and enhancing the existing ideas of localities to ensure the best progress and feasibility in implementation./.
