In the central area of Sa Pa town, the temperature has also dropped very low to about 3 degrees Celsius.

Fansipan is the highest mountain in Vietnam, located in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range in the Northwest region of Vietnam. The peak has an absolute height of 3143 m. Fansipan is also the highest mountain in the Indochina peninsula and is known as the "Roof of Indochina".
