The rate of illuminated alleys and lanes in Kinh Mon town reaches the maximum score compared to the requirements of a type III urban area.

From 2021 to present, the People's Committees of communes and wards in Kinh Mon town have mobilized resources (from the budget, socialized sources) to invest in and build lighting systems on streets, alleys, and lanes with a total length of more than 49.5 km (the plan for the 2021-2025 period is 40 km), with a total cost of nearly 14 billion VND.

Some wards have a high rate of illuminated alleys and lanes such as: An Luu, Hiep An, Hiep Son, Minh Tan...

Kinh Mon town supports paying for lighting electricity for communes and wards with about 4 billion VND/year from the budget.

According to the Project proposing to recognize Kinh Mon town as a type III urban area, the rate of illuminated alleys and lanes in the locality reached 85.78%, achieving the maximum score (the requirement for a type III urban area is from 80-85%).

In the coming time, Kinh Mon town will continue to invest in installing public lighting systems in the remaining alleys and lanes, associated with the beautification work of the movement to build civilized neighborhoods and streets.
