Vietnam U17 women's team meets Hong Kong (China) and Guam in the 2026 Asian U17 women's qualifying round

VHO - On the afternoon of August 7, AFC conducted the draw for the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship qualifiers. According to the draw results, the Vietnam U17 Women's team will meet Hong Kong (China) and Guam in the qualifying round of the tournament.

The qualifying round has 27 teams, divided into 8 groups, including 3 groups of 4 teams and 5 groups of 3 teams. The eight group winners will join the four teams that have qualified for the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2025, including North Korea, Japan, South Korea and China.

In the draw results, the Vietnam U17 women's team fell into group 3, specifically in group D with the Hong Kong U17 women's team (China) and the Guam U17 women's team.

According to the plan, the qualifying round will take place from October 13-17. The final round will take place from April 30, 2026 to May 17, 2026.
