The Vietnam U22 team has completed its first two training sessions in China to prepare for the CFA Team China 2024 international friendly tournament. This tournament is part of the team's long-term plan, aiming towards important goals in 2025.

The Vietnam U22 squad is a combination of players who recently made their mark at the 2024 National U21 Championship, along with several players who have proven themselves in the youth and national teams in recent times, such as Nguyen Thai Son, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Nguyen Quoc Viet, Nguyen Dinh Bac, etc.

The CFA Team China 2024 International Friendly Tournament features four teams: Vietnam U22, Uzbekistan U22, Malaysia U22, and host nation China U22. This is an opportunity for young players to gain experience and hone their skills.

According to the schedule, coach Dinh Hong Vinh's team will face U22 Uzbekistan at 2:30 PM on September 7th and U22 Malaysia at 6:35 PM on September 10th.
