The 2025 Southeast Asian U23 final between Indonesia and Vietnam ended with a 1-0 victory for the away team, but the aftermath was unexpectedly chaotic.

According to a statement from the Jakarta Pusat police, 22 fans were arrested, two of whom were injured, one of whom was hospitalized with serious injuries.
