The final match of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship will be a match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia. According to commentator Quang Huy, the task of defending the championship title for coach Kim Sang Sik and his team is very difficult, but completely doable if they have the best preparation.
"In the semi-final match against U23 Philippines, U23 Vietnam was behind for the first time in the tournament, but then the players played calmly, equalized and deservedly won.
With youth football, we have to make adjustments and learn from each match. There are people who play well in V-League but are not really themselves when playing in U23 Vietnam . The reason is that in V-League, Vietnamese players rely a lot on foreign players.

In this year's tournament, U23 Vietnam scored 7 goals despite facing an easy opponent in the group stage. Regarding the weak finishing of U23 Vietnam, commentator Quang Huy said: "That is because the players have limited playing experience. The fact that the strikers cannot score goals also caused frustration, making the team play hot-tempered.
In the final, we have to take advantage of opportunities more. In the attack, I am satisfied with Dinh Bac, believing that this player has some shining situations. The killer in the penalty area is probably only Dinh Bac."
Commentator Quang Huy believes that coach Kim Sang Sik has a strong enough squad, making it easy to adjust personnel according to developments on the field. This will give U23 Vietnam more chances of winning in the final match.
"Coach Kim Sang Sik knows how to use people, knows who is strong and who is weak. Substituting 3 people at the same time in the second half of the win over U23 Philippines clearly shows that. Regarding the final match, commentator Quang Huy expressed regret that U23 Vietnam did not meet U23 Thailand, but no matter who they meet, they will always aim for victory.
