Delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement on digital transformation between the Provincial People's Committee and Viettel Group.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province and Viettel Group agreed to cooperate in important contents such as: Developing digital infrastructure; building digital government; promoting digital economy ; developing digital society; information security and core technology; applying artificial intelligence in specialized fields such as health, education, tourism, environment, land management, urban transport.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet spoke at the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Huynh Quoc Viet emphasized: Digital transformation is a common trend, an inevitable requirement for the development of the province. Therefore, it is recommended that the contents of the cooperation agreement must be authentic, specific, consistent with the Central's policies, the progress and development planning of the province, ensuring quality, efficiency, and high applicability in all fields; at the same time, it must ensure the overall synchronization of the development process of the whole country. After signing, priority will be given to urgent contents to be implemented first; in particular, focusing on the areas of administrative reform, researching solutions to support people in performing administrative procedures in the online environment; developing the digital economy in production and business, etc.

Colonel Dao Xuan Vu, Deputy General Director of Viettel Group, congratulated Ca Mau province on the initial results of implementing a two-level local government in a smooth, synchronous and effective manner; at the same time, committed that Viettel Group will mobilize the best resources to meet the province's digital transformation needs, implement projects and tasks on digital transformation and information technology application. At the same time, he hoped that the provincial leaders as well as specialized departments, branches and sectors will always accompany and create conditions for Viettel to deploy the latest technology solutions to penetrate deeply into all sectors and areas of life, in order to promote the socio-economic development of the province.
The signing of this agreement marks an important step in the province's digital transformation process, demonstrating the commitment of the Provincial People's Committee and Viettel in bringing digital technology to serve socio-economic development and improve the quality of life of the people.
