According to the report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the allocation of land use quotas is carried out based on government regulations. The allocation of land use quotas to commune-level administrative units after reorganization aims to ensure the legal basis for state management of land in the province. Land use quotas are allocated according to the principle of inheriting and consolidating quotas already allocated to communes and wards before reorganization. For administrative units with partially reorganized areas, the quotas are separated and adjusted accordingly. The allocation plan ensures consistency with the provincial planning adjusted and supplemented after the reorganization of provincial and commune-level administrative units, eliminating the district level; while also facilitating the implementation of socio -economic development tasks in the current period.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hung Nam emphasized: The allocation of land quotas must ensure compliance with legal regulations, be practical, and meet both immediate and long-term development requirements. Based on the proposals from departments and agencies, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will study and incorporate the feedback to finalize reports and plans related to the allocation of land quotas until 2030 for 104 communes and wards in the province, for submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the principle of allocation should be based on the general targets in the adjusted provincial planning as the foundation for implementation; at the same time, attention should be paid to allocating land targets to localities with key projects passing through their areas; departments, sectors, and localities should coordinate closely in organizing the implementation, management, and effective and purposeful use of land until the adjusted provincial planning is approved by the competent authority.
