On the morning of June 7, the Provincial People's Committee organized a ceremony to present certificates of merit, badges and receive the painting "Uncle Ho working at Pac Bo" by artist Trinh Phong. Attending were comrades: Be Thanh Tinh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Trinh Truong Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, sectors, unions and relatives of artist Trinh Phong.

Painter Trinh Phong's real name is Trinh Ba Phong (Hong Dien), born in 1922 in Hanoi . He is a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, a member of the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association; a former lecturer at the Vietnam College of Fine Arts from 1956 - 1971 and at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts from 1987 - 1995. Joining the revolution since 1945, painter Trinh Phong, as a soldier on the ideological and cultural front, used his brush to contribute to the revolution, serving the people wholeheartedly. In his works about Uncle Ho, the painter always spent a lot of time researching to sketch the demeanor, spirit, soul and intelligence of the talented leader. After a field trip to Pac Bo in 1966-1967, the artist completed the famous oil painting “Uncle Ho Working at Pac Bo” in 1971. The painting has participated in many domestic exhibitions and won many awards for exhibitions on the subject of Ho Chi Minh. The original “Uncle Ho Working at Pac Bo” has been preserved by the family for over 53 years.
To contribute greatly to the propaganda andeducation about the revolutionary tradition of Cao Bang homeland, about Uncle Ho's revolutionary life, about love for the homeland and country, painter Trinh Phong and his family presented the painting "Uncle Ho working at Pac Bo" to Cao Bang province.
Speaking at the reception of the painting, Comrade Trinh Truong Huy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The preservation, conservation and display of the painting "Uncle Ho working at Pac Bo" at the Provincial Museum will contribute to promoting and introducing the great value of the painting, actively contributing to the education of local traditions, culture and history. On behalf of the provincial leaders and people of all ethnic groups in the province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy expressed his gratitude to painter Trinh Phong and his family for their noble gesture of donating the precious painting to the province to serve the propaganda and education work. To continue promoting the value of the painting "Uncle Ho working at Pac Bo", he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, especially the Provincial Museum, to do a good job of preserving and conserving, while promoting propaganda about the origin, author, historical story and artistic value of the painting to cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province and tourists.
Authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy presented a certificate of merit and badge to the family of painter Trinh Phong.
On this occasion, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Trinh Truong Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded the Certificate of Merit and badge "For the development of Cao Bang province" to the family of painter Trinh Phong.
