Previously, some news reports from The Financial Times, Bloomberg... cited private sources about Ukrainian President Zelensky's trip, with sources saying that he would arrive on a specially protected plane.
According to The New York Times at noon on May 19, Mr. Oleksii Danilov officially confirmed President Zelensky's upcoming presence at the G7 Summit, but said details about his trip would be kept confidential for security reasons.

"Very important things will be done there. So the physical presence of President Zelensky is very important to protect our interests," Mr Danilov told the nation on Ukrainian state television.
Mr Danilov also said Mr Zelensky would "put forward clear proposals and clear arguments regarding the events taking place on the territory of Ukraine".
Leaders of the G7 nations gathered in Hiroshima - including US President Joe Biden and his counterparts from Japan, Canada, Britain, France, Germany and Italy - will discuss over the next three days all aspects of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
They are likely to discuss the implementation of sanctions, whether to provide F-16 fighter jets to Kiev and the possibility of peace talks.
Leaders from India, Brazil and other countries were also present at the meeting as observers and Mr. Zelensky’s presence could influence their positions, some officials said.
Earlier, the Ukrainian President said in a speech on the evening of May 18: "We have a task to maintain the momentum of international support and communication for Ukraine. I am confident that we will complete this task."
