Applying digital technology to bring the Vietnam Fatherland Front closer to the people, serving the people

(Chinhphu.vn) - On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held a national online conference to pilot the "Digital Front" platform and train on "Application of AI in VFF work at all levels".

The conference was held directly at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and online to 34 provinces, cities, 3,321 communes, wards and special zones nationwide.

Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee continues to affirm the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in promoting the tradition and strength of great national unity. The Front's mission is to gather and unite all classes of people, and to be a solid bridge between the Party, the State and the people.

In the digital age, to play the role of a "bridge" well, the Vietnam Fatherland Front must proactively enter the digital space, be present where people are, and listen to people in new ways, in line with the trends of the times. "Digital Front" is an inevitable step, an urgent requirement.

This is not just an upgrade of working tools, but a revolution in the way we work, helping to move from manual, distributed working methods to a modern, systematic, data-driven method.

Five core software of "Digital Front"

Introducing the "Digital Front", Mr. Nguyen Ba Cat, Deputy Chief of Office, Director of the Information and Digital Transformation Center of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said: "Digital Front" is a digital platform designed to closely follow the core tasks of the Front's work.

Specifically, the "Digital Front" includes 5 "core" software: Online database software; software for receiving and processing people's feedback and recommendations; Community Digital Library software to support people; virtual assistant for advising the Fatherland Front at all levels; software for monitoring the progress and results of Fatherland Front congresses at all levels.

All systems on the "Digital Front" platform are connected to each other via the OpenID single sign-on platform. One account can log in to all software. It is expected that in the next stages, the Fatherland Front will coordinate with relevant units to integrate and synchronize with the National Population Database and authenticate centrally via the VNeID application.

Specifically, the online database software is designed to synthesize information, contributing to building an organizational database on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party at all levels. The software for receiving and processing people's feedback and recommendations is designed to realize the Front's role of social supervision and criticism in the strongest and most direct way.

Accordingly, people, wherever they are, only need a smartphone to send their opinions and recommendations directly to the Front's system. Each opinion will be recorded, classified, forwarded to competent authorities and the processing and resolution process will be monitored.

The feedback and recommendations on the updated software are processed quickly, helping the Vietnam Fatherland Front get closer to the people and promptly listen to their feedback and recommendations. The Community Digital Library software to support people is designed as a comprehensive information channel, guiding people to look up necessary information. The software is not only a useful search tool, but also an official, reliable information channel for people to access, learn, raise legal awareness, and participate more actively in community activities.

Currently, the software is being connected and integrated with two content groups: "Public Services" and "Law Library". In the next phase, it is expected to continue upgrading and adding information related to areas of life that people are interested in.

The virtual assistant serving the advisory work of the Fatherland Front at all levels is designed as a smart chatbot to support the Fatherland Front staff at all levels in looking up information related to the professional work of the Front. Users enter sentences and keywords about issues and areas of interest. Based on the installed database, the system will automatically extract appropriate information.

The advantages of the system are 24/7 instant feedback with high accuracy, regular updates, and multi-platform support. Software to monitor progress and results of congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels is designed to quickly and promptly synthesize basic information of the Congress.

Information is centrally managed, synchronized and visually monitored on a single system to provide comprehensive, accurate and real-time information on the work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at the provincial and communal levels. "Digital Front" will be a set of tools that will be closely associated with each Front official at the grassroots level, contributing to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's active contribution to the national digital transformation process - bringing the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations closer to the people, close to the people and ready to serve the people.
