Focus on building and replicating advanced models

QTO - In recent times, the work of discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models (T) has received special attention from all levels, sectors, localities and units in Quang Tri province. From here, the typical core factors have created a spreading force, clearly improving the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to discovering, nurturing, and building good people and good deeds. He once advised: “A living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches.”

Imbued with Uncle Ho's teachings and implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws on emulation and reward work, in recent times, local Party committees, authorities, agencies and units in the province have paid special attention to discovering, fostering and replicating good examples of good people and good deeds.

Mr. Mai Xuan Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs - the Standing Office of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, said: Emulation and Commendation work has always been directed by all levels, branches, agencies and units in the province in association with patriotic emulation movements and has had many clear changes. Agencies and units have carried out regular, thematic and ad hoc rewards strictly, orderly and in accordance with regulations.

Every year, the Council of Democracy and Democracy from the provincial to grassroots levels issues plans to promote democracy and democracy work; regularly discovers and trains young people to introduce, commend and honor them in the media. Agencies, units and localities have developed specific plans to foster and build new models and factors in each year and each period, selecting typical young people to commend, reward and set an example and replicate.

The forms and methods of propagating the example of the University of Information Technology are organized in a rich and innovative manner by all levels and sectors through many forms such as: on mass media; club activities; meetings and exchanges with the University of Information Technology; on the websites of departments, branches, sectors and the province...

Agencies working on patriotic emulation movements at all levels and media agencies have coordinated to promote propaganda and praise for patriotic emulation movements such as: Introducing patriotic emulation groups and individuals, new models, good practices, good people and good deeds; building specialized pages and columns on patriotic emulation movements...

Thanks to that, over the past 5 years, Quang Tri province has discovered, fostered, and expanded many models and models of good governance in many fields: Good production and business; creative labor, scientific research; administrative reform; skillful mass mobilization; natural disaster prevention; crime prevention and control..., while promoting them on mass media, setting an example for all people.

Thanks to the effective implementation of the motto of taking UDTT as the core of emulation and expanding the movement, localities and units in the province have successfully completed their political tasks. For example, over the past many years, the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business" has been effectively implemented by Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province. Thereby, thousands of farming households in the province have built effective and creative production and business models, applying new techniques in crop and livestock farming to achieve high productivity.

Farmer Be Van Mai in Nam Trach commune has just been voted as “Outstanding Vietnamese Farmer” in 2025. Mr. Mai said: “I am very happy to be voted and honored because this is the result of my and my family’s tireless efforts over many years. However, I also feel that I need to try harder, constantly compete in labor production, to be worthy of the honored title, contributing to economic development and new rural construction in the locality.”

Strengthening propaganda work

According to the assessment of the Provincial Economic and Cultural Council, in the work of discovering, building and replicating the University of Culture, the province always focuses on models and examples of collectives, individuals and households with outstanding and typical achievements in production, study, work and combat.

Experience from localities and units shows that it is necessary to synchronously implement 4 stages: Discovery - training - summary - replication of UDTT.

According to Mr. Mai Xuan Toan, in the coming time, the work of discovering, fostering, summarizing and replicating the UDTT needs to continue to be closely directed, organized and implemented in a more systematic, synchronous and effective manner. In particular, localities and units need to promote propaganda work on patriotic emulation movements and UDTT examples on mass media, electronic information pages, social networks and grassroots communication systems.

“In the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities in the province will continue to promote the dissemination of good people, good deeds, and UDTT on mass media, electronic information pages and social networks. Thereby, contributing to discovering, fostering and replicating effective models and creative ways of doing things. Regularly organize exchange activities, meetings and timely commendations to spread the value of UDTT in the community”, Mr. Mai Xuan Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs - the standing agency of the Provincial Council for UDTT, shared.

Because timely propaganda will contribute to encouraging and motivating cadres, party members and people to actively compete and achieve achievements in all fields. Through propaganda work, to discover, build and nurture outstanding talents in all aspects of life; at the same time, create a favorable environment for recognized outstanding talents to continue to promote their abilities, creativity and spread positive influence in the community.

The summary of the emulation movement must be associated with the evaluation of the effectiveness of the activities of the UDTTs, from which practical experiences can be drawn for replication. On the other hand, the activities of commendation, honor, exchange and discussion with the UDTTs need to be organized thoughtfully, practically, avoiding formality.

Through doing a good job of propaganda, discovery, training, summarizing and replicating the emulation movement, it will contribute to spreading the patriotic emulation movement widely, arousing the spirit of innovation, creativity and will to rise up in the whole society, creating a driving force to promote the successful implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security of the province; contributing to building Quang Tri province to develop more and more sustainably and comprehensively.
