The Company's jelly production process ensures food hygiene and safety standards.
Having lived and worked with ethnic minorities in Cao Bang province for nearly 30 years, Ms. Tran Thi Vuong, Tam Giang commune (Yen Phong) grasped the advantage of the black jelly material area of the Northeast mountains and forests (Cao Bang, Bac Kan , Lang Son) and the great demand for clean food in the market. Realizing that Cao Bang is too far from Hanoi and major city centers, leading to high production and transportation costs and long-distance preservation is not guaranteed, Ms. Vuong decided to move near Yen Phong Industrial Park to build a factory. The raw material area for product production is identified in Cao Bang province. Along with grasping the raw materials, Ms. Vuong devoted all her heart to the field of research, production and processing of clean, safe black jelly from natural materials.
In early 2015, the Company launched its products under the brand name Thach An - Cao Bang Black Jelly. With technological improvements, product design and quality were well received. Ms. Vuong said: “With a clean black jelly product, made entirely from natural ingredients, good for consumers’ health, Thach An product was born, consumers have another reliable green address. When choosing a product brand, the Company’s leaders also proposed many options according to the motto of the product name, ensuring it is short and easy to remember. Thach An was chosen as the brand name for the Company’s black jelly product, with the meaning as the slogan: Peace of mind when choosing, safe when eating. It is a clean, safe product and is produced from natural ingredients, without chemicals or preservatives”.
In addition to traditional jelly products, the Company has chosen to add the Boonghey brand to its sugar-free product line, for people on a sugar diet. Boonghey is a Tay Nung Cao Bang language, meaning our hometown, us, our group. Boonghey - An macrobiotic jelly is a product that uses the sweetness of stevia herbs instead of sugar, creating a product that is good for health when used.
With the efforts to bring clean black jelly products to consumers, Thach An Company has created trust with customers and partners. In 2023, the Company was honored to receive the award from the Ministry of Industry and Trade: "National Outstanding Rural Industrial Product". In 2024, the Company's products won the award: "High-quality Vietnamese Goods" voted by consumers, not only speaking of product quality but also motivating the unit to do better in the following years, bringing the highest quality products to consumers.
In the coming time, the Company's goal is to continue researching black jelly products, expand production scale, participate in classifying OCOP products of Bac Ninh province, and spread products widely inside and outside the province.
