Van Ban organizes the National Defense Sports Festival and the Advanced Military Shooting Competition

On May 16, the Van Ban District Military Command organized the 2024 National Defense Sports Festival.

There are 220 athletes participating in this year's sports festival.

This year's sports festival has 220 athletes from the Military Command of communes and towns in the district. The athletes participate in 3 combined military events including: AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1, throwing grenades far and in the right direction; armed running for men 3000 m; women 1500 m; armed swimming.

Although the weather was unfavorable due to thunderstorms, thanks to good preparation of the training ground, training ground and practice organization, the athletes completed the competition well according to the proposed content, ensuring absolute safety for people and weapons.

At the end of the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Military Command of Nam Chay Commune, the Second Prize to the Military Command of Dan Thang Commune, the Third Prize to the Military Command of Vo Lao Commune and the Encouragement Prize to the Military Command of Khanh Yen Thuong.
