The World Climate Action Summit (COP28) is taking place in the United Arab Emirates. This is considered the largest bilateral climate change conference of the year, with the participation of 70,000 delegates from many countries; and is also very important in the context of climate change's increasingly serious impacts on a global scale.

Van Mai Huong is honored to be the Vietnamese artist invited by the United Nations to perform the theme song of COP28. The song Lasting Legacy with the harmony of Van Mai Huong and a series of international artists RedOne, Balquees, AGNEZ MO, Valeriya, Dalia, Arrow Bwoy, BOYS STORY, Gims... aims to call for more cooperation in responding to the challenges of climate change.
“This is a very special and meaningful activity. Huong and artists from many countries around the world hope that Lasting Legacy will be spread so that people will pay more attention and take more practical actions to address the issue of global climate change,” Van Mai Huong shared.
Previously, Van Mai Huong was a young face chosen to duet with Peabo Bryson (2015) when he came to Vietnam to perform.
2023 is a year with many outstanding activities for Van Mai Huong. In addition to releasing the 4th studio album in her singing career, she continuously participates in major cultural and artistic activities and programs held at home and abroad. Van Mai Huong is also a female singer who covered the top trending YouTube Vietnam this year with the songs: Don't apologize anymore (March), I love my dad (April), Rain in June (May and June), Great star (September and October).
On the annual Blue Wave Awards chart, the hit song June Rain has been in the top favorite songs for 17 consecutive weeks and is one of the longest-running songs since the beginning of the year. On the "Top Most Listened Songs" chart on Apple Music 2023, Van Mai Huong has 2 songs in the top: June Rain, A Thousand Pains.
