The art program "Echo of the Hero" was directed by the Ministry of Public Security and organized by Ho Guom Theater on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The program was directed by Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Director of Ho Guom Theater; Mr. Tran Hai Dang, Meritorious Artist Trinh Tung Linh as art directors; Meritorious Artist Kim Xuan Hieu as conductor of the orchestra. The performance was attended by many famous singers: Trong Tan, Pham Thu Ha, Dao To Loan, Viet Danh, Bao Yen, Kim Long, Truong Linh... Also performing were hundreds of artists from the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, the Choir of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and the People's Public Security Music and Dance Theater.

The organizers said that the program expressed deep gratitude to generations of police officers, and was a hearty symphony connecting the past - present - future through art. With heroic and moving melodies, the program aroused in each person national pride, patriotism, aspiration for peace and the will to contribute to a prosperous and powerful Vietnam. Through the program, each audience member understood and appreciated more the sacred values of independence and freedom, and had more confidence in the steadfast role of the police force on the journey to maintain peace for the country today and tomorrow.

Right from the opening minutes, the audience watched the program as if going back in time, returning to the glorious years of the nation's struggle - where revolutionary ideals and burning love for the Fatherland had forged the indomitable spirit and resilient spirit of an entire generation. The stage of the Ho Guom Theater was filled with the proud melody of the song "August 19" - a composition by musician Xuan Oanh during the country's historic moment 80 years ago. This was also one of the most spectacular performances in the program, with the participation of artists from the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and a grand choir of up to 50 people.
Many musical works have gone through the years, praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, performed by artists and symphony orchestras, arousing national pride and deep gratitude towards the Party and beloved Uncle Ho such as: "Praise to President Ho" (Van Cao), "He is the belief in certain victory" (Chu Minh), "Ho Chi Minh is the most beautiful name" (Tran Kiet Tuong), "Singing in the Pac-Bo forest" (Nguyen Tai Tue)...


Along with that are works praising soldiers in fighting, building and defending the Fatherland that are very familiar to the audience but are newly harmonized and arranged such as: "Grateful to sister Vo Thi Sau" (Nguyen Duc Toan); "Day and Night March" (poetry: Bui Cong Minh; music: Phan Huynh Dieu); "Volunteer" (Truong Quoc Khanh); "From a street intersection" (Pham Tuyen); "That soldier" (Hoang Van); "The Fatherland calls my name" (poetry: Nguyen Phan Que Mai; music: Dinh Trung Can)...
The program also brings many famous songs about the country, love, the desire for peace, and faith in the future, including: "Blue Hanoi Sky" (Van Ky); "Shadow of Kơ-Nia Tree" (poetry: Ngoc Anh; music: Phan Huynh Dieu); "Chorus of Love" (Tran Tien); "Tieng of the Monochord" (poetry: Lu Giang, music: Nguyen Dinh Phuc), ...



The music night ended with a majestic military song - "Marching under the military flag", a composition by musician Doan Nho - as an affirmation that the Vietnam People's Public Security has, is and will continue to affirm its pivotal role in the cause of protecting national security, contributing to building a peaceful, prosperous and civilized country. Today's police officers and soldiers are still writing the heroic history of the police force over the past 80 years...
