This afternoon, DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 74.98 million VND/tael for buying and 76.98 million VND/tael for selling.
At Mi Hong Gold and Gemstone Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey listed the price of SJC gold at 76.20 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 75.88 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 76.00 - 76.98 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
SJC gold bars are still at 75.48 million VND/tael for buying and 76.98 million VND/tael for selling. Since the last session of last week, brands have adjusted the buying price by half a million VND/tael. Currently, the difference between domestic gold price and world gold price is about 2.4 million VND/tael.

The central exchange rate listed by the State Bank is 24,245 VND/USD, down 3 VND/USD. The USD price at commercial banks is traded around 25,207 VND/USD for buying and 25,457 VND/USD for selling.

World gold price today July 15, 2024 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 2:00 p.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,412.36 USD/ounce. The gold price this afternoon is 0.78 USD/ounce higher than the closing price of the trading session. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 73.056 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 2.424 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

The world spot gold price stood at 2,412.36 USD/ounce, compared to the closing price of the trading week, the precious metal recorded a flat trend in the first trading session of the week. Although there were not many fluctuations, gold was still recorded at a high level of over 2,400 USD/ounce, which made analysts maintain an optimistic attitude about the future of gold.
Alex Kuptsikevich, senior market analyst at FxPro, noted that the rise above $2,400 bodes well for gold prices and he sees the potential for a new record high that is hundreds of dollars higher than the previous level.
Analysts at CPM Group said in a note shared with Kitco News that they continue to see this as a buy in the near term.
“Gold prices are struggling to hold, supported by growing concerns and uncertainties about the political situation around the world. As the US election approaches, support for gold prices is expected to increase,” CPM wrote, adding that if prices can hold above $2,400, this could set the stage for gold to set a new record by the end of the year.
Gold Price Forecast
Gold has been on a strong run lately, with the next target being $2,485 an ounce, according to Sean Lusk, co-director of commercial hedging at Walsh Trading. The gold market is heading towards that level.
James Stanley, senior market strategist at Forex, also said that gold prices could soon reach $2,500/ounce as the market is excited by positive news.
