VHM, VRE help VN-Index maintain growth momentum

On June 10, the market fell to nearly 1,300 points at the opening, but the immediate increase in demand across the board helped the VN-Index regain green. At the end of the session, selling pressure returned, but VHM and VRE unexpectedly increased their momentum, helping the VN-Index maintain green when closing with an increase of 5.66 points to 1,316.23 points.

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased slightly compared to the previous session, reaching more than 17,001.77 billion VND.

Foreign investors net bought approximately 312 billion VND on the HoSE. On the selling side, FPT shares were sold the most (81 billion VND), followed by CTG (61 billion VND), VIC (58 billion VND),... On the contrary, EIB shares were bought the most (133 billion VND), followed by VIX (102 billion VND), GEX (87 billion VND)...

Today's session, the VN30 group closed with 14 stocks increasing, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

Of which, VRE increased by 3.72%, VHM increased by 2.69%, STB increased by 2.26%, MWG increased by 1.65%, GVR increased by 1.62%, MSN increased by 1.09%, TCB increased by 1.01%.

Codes: BVH, HDB, LPB, SHB , VIC, VJC, VPB increased slightly.

Seven codes stopped at reference: ACB , SAB, SSI, TPB, VCB, VIB, VNM.

On the contrary, BCM, BID, CTG, FPT, GAS, HPG, MBB, PLX, SSB decreased slightly.

In terms of industry groups, steel stocks traded differently and mostly fluctuated slightly. Specifically, VCA increased by 1.14%, HMC and SMC increased slightly. On the downside, TLH decreased by 1.50%, HPG, HSG and NKG decreased slightly.

The group of securities stocks closed the session up 0.36%, of which only a few codes traded positively, the rest mainly fluctuated within a narrow range. Specifically, ORS increased by 2.9%, VDS increased by 1.86%, DSC increased by 1.61%, FTS, HCM, TVB, VCI, VIX, VND increased slightly, AGR, APG, DSE, SSI, TCI, TVS stopped at reference, BSI, CTS decreased slightly.

Banking stocks closed up 0.26%. In addition to the codes ACB, BID, CTG, HDB, LPB, MBB, SHB, SSB, STB, TCB, TPB, VCB, VPB, VIB in the VN30 group mentioned above, other codes such as: EIB decreased slightly, MSB increased slightly, OCB increased 2.33%, NAB stopped at reference.

Real estate stocks were dominated by red, but with the support of pillar stocks: VRE, VHM, they still closed the session in green with an increase of 0.88%. Other stocks with good increases included: TEG hitting the ceiling, VRC up 3.27%, TN1 up 2.25%, SCR up 1.88%, VPI up 1.57%. On the other hand, ITC hit the floor, DRH down 3.51%, DTA down 5.83%, DXS down 4.05%, HAR down 2.92%, HQC down 3.01%, HTN down 6.73%, NTL down 2.16%...

Stock industry groups such as: durable retail distribution increased by 1.46%, consumer goods and decoration increased by 2.51%, telecommunications increased by 2.72%, insurance, raw materials, and consumer services increased slightly.

On the other hand, energy decreased by 1.27%, transportation, capital goods, food, beverages and tobacco, utilities, and software decreased slightly.

Notably, in this session, GEE shares of Gelex Electricity Joint Stock Company suddenly increased to the ceiling price of VND97,400/share, contributing more than 0.5 points to the general index.

* The Vietnamese stock market index maintained green throughout the session today, VNXALL-Index closed up 11.3 points (+0.52%), at 2,168.84 points. Liquidity with trading volume reached 802.85 million units, equivalent to trading value of VND 18,835.53 billion. In the whole market, there were 201 stocks increasing in price, 99 stocks remaining unchanged and 153 stocks decreasing in price.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 226.40 points, down 0.09 points (-0.04%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 69.30 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND1,243,632 billion. The entire floor had 73 stocks increasing, 71 stocks remaining unchanged and 61 stocks decreasing.

The HNX30 index closed down 2.35 points (-0.50%) to 463.80 points. Trading volume reached about 47.41 million units, with a corresponding value of more than VND969.197 billion. The HNX30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 12 stocks increasing, 8 stocks remaining unchanged and 10 stocks decreasing.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM Index stopped at the reference level of 98.19 points. Liquidity of the whole market, total trading volume reached more than 27.36 million shares, corresponding trading value reached more than 366,977 billion VND. The UPCoM group of stocks ended the trading day with 122 stocks increasing, 95 stocks remaining unchanged and 115 stocks decreasing.

* At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 5.66 points (+0.43%) to 1,316.23 points. Liquidity reached over 777.94 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND18,284.47 billion. The entire floor had 162 stocks increasing, 60 stocks remaining unchanged and 135 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 8.26 points (+0.59%) to 1,404.82 points. Liquidity reached over 263.39 million units, equivalent to a trading value of VND8,236.73 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 14 stocks increasing, 7 stocks remaining unchanged and 9 stocks decreasing.

The five stocks with the highest trading volume are SHB (over 53.43 million units), VIX (over 38.51 million units), VND (over 20.35 million units), VPB (over 20.27 million units), STB (over 15.15 million units).

The five stocks with the highest price increase were CCC (6.95%), DGW (6.92%), GEE (6.92%), PIT (6.89%), TEG (6.85%).

The five stocks with the biggest price declines were VDS (-7.43%), ITC (-6.83%), HTN (-6.73%), PNC (-6.62%), DAT (-6.58%).
