[Video] Opening of the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030

On the morning of October 17, the 1st Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, solemnly opened. Comrade Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat attended and directed the Congress.

Presenting the Political Report at the Congress, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai said: In recent years, Ca Mau's socio-economic situation has continued to maintain a stable growth momentum; the economic structure has shifted positively, people's lives have improved significantly; the fields of culture, education, health, and social security have made much progress, and national defense and security have been maintained.

As the southernmost province of the country, with a coastline of more than 250 km, a rich mangrove ecosystem and great potential for marine economy , energy, aquaculture and eco-tourism, Ca Mau is determined to focus on maximizing the advantages of the land at the head of the country.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress aims to promote the application of science and technology , innovation, digital transformation; build a clean and strong Party and political system; develop a green and sustainable economy, making Ca Mau a new growth pole of the Mekong Delta region.
