Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized: "The program "Sun without borders" is not only a symbolic activity, but also demonstrates the close and loyal affection between the people of Vietnam and Cuba, a relationship that has been preserved and developed for more than six decades. The program calls for community support to install solar power systems in Cuban schools. This is considered a long-term and sustainable solution, helping schools ensure a stable power source, thereby improving the quality of teaching and learning in the current shortage conditions.
In addition, the activity also contributes to strengthening people-to-people diplomacy , promoting educational cooperation and development between the two countries in the context of the world facing many challenges of climate change, energy shortage and inequality in access to education.
From now until the end of 2025, the program will continue to implement cultural exchange activities, calling for socialized resources, to spread the message of solidarity, compassion and global responsibility, in line with the traditional spirit of friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
