On the afternoon of May 12, at the National Assembly House, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue had a meeting with Politburo member, State Council member, Secretary General of the Cuban Women's Union Teresa Maria Amarelle Boue and the Cuban Women's Union delegation on a working visit to Vietnam.
Secretary General Teresa Maria Amarelle Boue said that during her working days in Vietnam, the Cuban side learned a lot of experience in responding to the challenges that women face in the development process, such as creating more job opportunities for women, promoting the role of women in leadership positions, supporting economic development, enhancing the role of women in scientific research fields, etc.

The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach importance to, preserve and promote the special Vietnam-Cuba relationship through Party, National Assembly, Government and people-to-people exchange channels.
“Vietnam is always a loyal friend of Cuba, always standing side by side with our Cuban comrades, supporting and assisting each other, sharing experiences in building, protecting and developing the country in the current complicated international situation,” Comrade Vuong Dinh Hue affirmed, expressing his belief that Cuba will achieve great victories in the cause of building and developing the country.
